Huawei mediapad t3 10 won't connect to home WiFi

My sons Huawei Mediapad t3 10 was replaced due to a cracked screen and the new tablet will not connect to my home WiFi. 

The old tablet connected no problem and so does my daughters tablet. IPhone, PS4, Amazon Fire stick and apple TV all connect through wireless with no issues. The only one that doesn't is the new tablet. 

I have done everything you can think of but still no joy.

I hope you're well and having a nice Monday, are you up to much? 

Does your WiFi show up on the list of devices on the tablet and then fail to connect, or does it not even show on the list?
