I made an order to Starr a new contract early hours of this morning for an iPhone 12 Pro max in Blue 128gb
I have received an email saying its been successful and ill get an update when its been dispatched also including an order number but the £50 upfront hasn't been taken from my account yet.
Has it been accepted?

Give it some time if you did it the early hours of this morning you won't receive it today.
If you want to know if it has gone through then give EE a call. We can't tell you on here. There is no account access and we are just customers like yourself.

I'm just confused as to why the upfront cost hasn't been taken yet thats all

It won't appear in your bank online system straight away either.
I know some banks do pending transactions does yours?
My HSBC doesn't show any transactions I made until the next working day after.
But my First Direct bank account shows any pending transactions.
Barclays never used to but that may have changed since I left them.

Thankyou,I am with Barclays but I'm not sure how it works as I thought it would have been taken when the order was placed.

Does Barclays show pending transactions?
It may have been taken but not shown on the bank statements yet.
If you are also worried call EE to see if they have actually processed the contract sale.

It does yes but not always,I'll give it until this afternoon to give it chance then I'll give them a call
