I have a new Pixel A3 handset but cannot get my PC to connect to the device. If I plug it into my computer, it will charge it but not register it on the C drive for me to access data. This means I cannot save my photos etc on my PC and my phone storage is full :(.
I have enabled 'allow data transfer' on the handset upon plugging it (under USB settings) in but this doesn't change anything.
I have tried 5 different cables, including the one the device came with.
I have yet to get this to work since getting the device.
Any help appreciated! Thanks

Hi @LaurenLK.
Welcome to the community.
Have you tried transferring the files using your Google Account?
This Google Support Page may explain it better.

Are you looking on the PC in the right place? It won't be on the C: drive; that's part of your PC. It'll be an entirely diff drive under This PC in its own right. Look for a device by the name you gave the phone.

Thanks for your response.
I think that's what I meant! I did a windows search and it didn't come up anywhere.
It turns out it's a compatability issue with the phone and PC...worked on a different one! No idea why
