Google Pixel 3 XL shipping

Hi All,

I recently upgraded to a Google Pixel 3 XL (64gb - black) and was told by three different members of staff that the new phone would arrive with me on November 1st, but today I was told by a different EE Rep that I should expect to receive my new phone in 14 days..

Is this because the UK release is delayed or something? Or am I just being told false information and being messed about?

I recommend speaking to customer services if you want an update on your order.

Otherwise, DPD will be in contact with delivery information once it's on its way.

Honestly Chris, every single EE Support Rep gives me a different answer or simply fobs me off / gives me the generic "Google haven't sent us the devices, it's out of our control" response. 

I work from 8AM and don't get home until gone 8PM every single day, I'm having to go out of my way just to make sure someone is at home to collect the phone (Because apparently having the device delivered to my work address would require you to cancel the order)

I'm sorry to sound frustrated and blunt but please can someone at EE understand my situation.

12/10 Pixel 3 xl Black 128GB ordered through retentions pre-Launch for Launch day over the  'phone 

31/10  Text Received-Delayed/held up for Launch day text received "due to Manufacturer"

6/11  Text Received- Order coming soon (expect 9 Nov) 

7/11  Text Received- Due to further Manufacturer delay....will not be with you by 9 Nov

10/11 TextReceived-  Great News!  Your Google Pixel 3 xl is with our courier

11/11  7pm Email Received-We're sorry, your parcel has been delayed due to an unexpected delay

12/11  Pixel 3 XL  Delivered!

The moral of the above is don't put too much faith in to what you are told/texted-Until you have 'phone in hand, take nothing for granted.    Who's to blame?  It doesn't really matter as we will never know.

I do hope that those of you still awaiting delivery/ store pick up, are soon  acquainted with your handsets.

I'm in the same boat and now that I see people getting their phones, it's only annoying me more.

I haven't had any updates on my order for a week and my tracker hasn't actually changed once from "expected delivery 19th-24th".
