Google Pixel 3 XL shipping

Hi All,

I recently upgraded to a Google Pixel 3 XL (64gb - black) and was told by three different members of staff that the new phone would arrive with me on November 1st, but today I was told by a different EE Rep that I should expect to receive my new phone in 14 days..

 

Is this because the UK release is delayed or something? Or am I just being told false information and being messed about?

@Jon_K How long is this update to your tracker supposed to take? Because it’s still not working for me and other people can use it.

So…… I received and email on Saturday saying that DPD now have my phone and will be delivering it today (12th) but when I try to use my order number from the email I am being told that I have entered an invalid order reference.

I have also not yet received a text from DPD telling me what time my order will be delivered.

This is all very annoying as EE have decided to already start my new contract even though I do not have my new phone!!!!

Where do I find the tracker as I pre ordered on 9th October, I have spoken to Customer Service on several occasions and I am still no closer to getting my phone.

 

I see people are starting to get theirs now and I am finding it quite frustrating. 

 

I have looked on track my order and its saying it can't find my order which is helpful

Have you had any more information from DPD about your order?

 

Is it the DPD portal that you're using?

My XL 3 was marked to arrive today - and it did! Got here about 10 minutes ago via DPD. Charging as we speak. I'm not trying to rub it in, I did say (as did loads of other people?) that I would post on here if it actually arrived. And no, I don't work for or with EE!

Ok I have just had confirmation from my local EE store that my phone is in. I'l be going to collect it in about half hour or so.

I haven't got mine and to be honest I am getting pretty fed up.

 

Despite ordering on day of the google announcement (9th October) I have been told they are being shipped on a first come first served basis. 

 

Ordered day of Google announcement but not first come first served? Who is in front of me? 

 

I feel like I am being fobbed off with standard scripted answers. Quick enough to start my new tarrif before the phone arrived.

Hi All,

 

On Saturday I had a chat with an EE Customer Service rep who advised that she could see that my order had been sent out and may possibly arrive Sunday (11th), but most likely Monday.

 

Yesterday at around Mid Day, I received several text messages regarding the activation of my new contract (That's nice of EE to switch me over to my new contract before sending my phone)

 

Yesterday at 17:00PM I received an email informing that my order was on its way to me, I did not receive any follow up via SMS regarding my DPD Slot.

 

Today, I have nothing.. No text, no email absolutely no indication that my order is going to arrive.

 

I'm fed up now. And the lousy £50 credit isn't good enough, they're wasting my time (and money).
