I upgraded to a samsung galaxy s21 with a smart plan (which to be honest was more expensive than i had planned to spend). I was bought A Galaxy watch 3 as a present (very exciting) this weekend. Its compatible.
I have been able to pair the phone with the watch via Bluetooth. However on the wearables app i try to find a network plan using the setup and it can't connect. It advises to contact my service provider. It does not give me the choice to pick a network provider to login. It doesnt say log in to ee. It tries to find it and cant. Ive tried ee help via social media but the things that they recommend are checking 4g is on and wifi off or reset. I've tried everything and have someone calling me tomorrow but Im going to be ticked off if im going to be asked to pay more as i said right from the start of the upgrade process i was intending to get the watch.
Has anyone else had difficulties when using a wearable purchased not through EE? If anyone can assist before my call tomorrow it would be appreciated as im sure its likely to be an ee link problem.

@HaylesT To have a watch on contract that you have got yourself it’ll cost £7 per month on a 30 day rolling contract and you’ll get 10Gb of data per month just for the watch.

Hi @HaylesT.
To get the SIM only watch plan, you would need to speak with someone from our Customer Care team, so I'd recommend waiting for your call to discuss your options.
