Full Fibre 900 (New Installation)

TheKidder30
Explorer

Hi All

Hopefully someone can help, before i have to contact the EE

i have just had the 900 installed today & currently get no where near 400 never mind 900, upload is great thou! (70-100ish)

i have try both the New EE (White one) & my own TP-Link Decos, both giving the same results roughy..

so my question is (if any one is aware), is there a settling in period for the speeds to settle. the Openreach guy today said it would be up & running at full speed within the hour. but it hasn't gone any faster all day.

thanks in advance..

If you search on here it seems you are not the only one with the same issue, seems the EE router may need an uograde. Similas problems were found on the BT forum, but it seems they have an upgrade.

A related issue, but on the Up side, is discussed in Upload speed problem on Full Fiber Max 900

i noticed the BT issue, but does relate to Upload.

With me trying my own equipment also, leads me to think its a EE/Openreach issue & not equipment issue.

Have you tried a direct PC/Laptop PPPoE connection to the ONT? This will rule out  any router problem.

I take it that you got this sorted?

I had a similar problem, basically I believe they had set the profile wrong on the account.....not that they would admit it.
