Friends and Family upgrade

Hi

Please can someone confirm if I upgrade through the EE App to a "As Good as New handset" which is £5 cheaper than the normal plans, will it still honour my F&F discount?

Online it seems to show that it will, yet, when speaking to an advisor on the phone, they say I can't have 2 discounts with F&F. I was told that even if the order went through on line, it would get checked and then the £5 discount would get removed.

I'm trying to sort my upgrade out tomorrow and could do with a definitive response, as getting conflicting info at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

Deepak

A reduction in price is not a discount. It's a reduction for buying a slightly substandard model.

Hi

Thanks, yes, I thought that was the case, but just the advisor I spoke to was adamant that the good as new option was not possible for me.

I've seen lots of posts on this community that seem to contradict that.

I just didn't want to upgrade then told that I would have to pay an extra £5 for the privilege.

Thanks
