This might sound silly, but why can I not get an estimate via email?
I have already left the country for work and won't be back until a month. I should be able to order for a esim via email so that I can use a local sim from this country.

I suspect @Nap5t3R wants to move his EE SIM to an eSIM freeing up the physical SIM slot for a foreign SIM.
As EE post the eSIM to a UK address only, this will not be possible whist you are roaming.

Hi @Nap5t3R and welcome to the community
An E-SIM has nothing to do with your phone's ability to use foreign SIMs, I suspect you are inadvertently confused with getting your phone unlocked.
How long have you had your Pixel device for?

Wouldn't it also need activating on the EE UK network first anyway so even sending the QR code via email won't allow it to be activated.
