Delivery status

I paid off my current phone contract (£300+) a week ago and upgraded for the iphone 13 pro max. I have had order confirmation but no delivery status update. It says within 24 hours and it’s been well over that. Can someone help me and tell me what’s going on. It’s ridiculous to pay out that much money and have nothing back.
