Hey guys I've had my insurance claim successfully be accepted due to damaged phone....
However in the confirmation email it says that DPD will text me with the tracking ID and will send text alerts.
Unfortunately the phone is completely unusable and therefore I cant see any texts sent to my number. I also don't have another phone that I can put the sim into...
I can't ring either due to the damage - does anyone know any work arounds in getting this tracking ID/updates?
I can take a day working from home but my company requires me in office so need to ensure the day/time I pick is the time/date of delivery.

Welcome to the community,
If you have the DPD App, you can keep an eye out for any messages sent to you, you can then also include your email address and edit notifications, hope this helps, you will be able to keep track of any parcels being delivered etc.

@Schockwave Thanks for the suggestion! Tried this out but unfortunately as I've not used the app before you have to verify your mobile number (code sent via text) before being able to continue or progress over their app.
Unfortunately until the replacement phone is delivered I've no way to verify my number I'm afraid.

@Marklesfield , not sure, but if you have a tracking number, you may be able to track it by logging into your account or the My EE App. You could always use the Live Chat and see if they can add your email to DPD to receive updates.
