Connecting 4GEE wifi to Audio Pro and Spotify connect

Hi, recently joined EE and set up 4G mobile broadband which has transformed my broadband from old style 1mbps via a traditional line to 25mbps or more.  Very happy as we are in a rural area.  Placing the order and getting set up was a great experience so thank you EE.  The only thing I'm really struggling with is getting my audio pro smart speaker to play music via spotify connect. It worked fine on the old(slow) network and I have reconnected to the new network, on the 2.4ghz band, and it 'says' connected but I just can't get spotify to play.  Done everything I can think of, reset to factory settings on the speaker, checked everything is on the same network, logged in & out, but I just can't make it play.   Just wondered if anyone had experienced a similar issue or had any ideas that might help? Thanks in advance and sorry for the long question.

If any of this helps…..When I contacted audio pro to get the new firmware download the link came from xxxxx.xxxxx@xxxxxxx.com    He was very helpful. You can also send feedback to Audio Pro via a link in settings in the app if it done already. I’ve always found them very responsive.

Hi Chris

Managed to update speakers using the link from the forum topic and it worked!!

Then moved the speakers back to the room where there being used turned on and no!! Went back to how it was before with no Spotify connecting!!

The 2 devices that i always use are iPad and Samsung phone which worked prefect before changing the router!!

Any clues cheers

Darren

My experience was that the firmware download (4.2.9408.xxx) posted by @cc1200 fixed the problem both for my C10 and my C3. But a few weeks later an automatic over the air firmware update (4.2.9501.xxx) broke it again. I attempted to revert the firmware with the previously downloaded version, and the update appeared to complete, but checking the version number showed nothing had changed. Then a few days ago another automatic firmware update (4.2.9709.xxx) on the C10 fixed the problem again. The C3 has yet to update to a new firmware version and is still not working. Anybody know how to force an over the air firmware update?

What firmware version is your speaker now showing @DazT1 ?

Same problem here back in April. This is what Audio Pro sent me and not had a problem since.

please upgrade to the below version, now the was included into normal release, you won't have this issue in future

Thanks @cc1200 , I'll use that to update my C3 if it doesn't get an automatic update in the next day or two.
