Changing watches to replace the connected one

Hi I have a samsung frontier connected by esim I have recently brought a second hand samsung active 2 I've tried to swap the watches over but I get a error I spent a hour on the phone to ee to try and solve it they hung up I don't think they knew how to has anyone any suggestions please. Thanks.
