Changing from EE

I am changing from EE to another broadband company - my contract ends on 13th October. When do I start the next contract from to avoid any charges? Will I get charged for starting the next contract a few days before the EE one ends?

These BB contracts don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the non-discounted price on a rolling 14-days' notice basis until you explicitly migrate, cancel or upgrade.

You will be charged early termination fees if your new ISP migrates your line before your min. term expires. If your new ISP is Virgin you will need to cancel your EE BB yourself.
