Hi all
I hope someone can help. Im a bit confused. I am an EE customer, and my Urus takes a sim card, which means my passengers will have wifi. It says i have to give the cars imei to EE? Is that right? Can't i just put a normal sim card in it?

Can't think why. You may put any SIM in any device that it fits.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

If you've got s SIM Slot then as you correctly say just put the SIM in there, no need to pass other info to EE.
One thing that you may or may not need to do is set up the APN (Access Point Name) for the correct EE Settings but most units or phones now are Self Configurable.
Try it and see.

@Katie1984 Try THIS YouTube clip. EE don’t need a IMEI number for this to work.

Again don't need to do any of that, just the SIM in and may be check APN, but as said shouldn't need to it's should all be Plug and Play these days.
