I have just moved to EE and transferred my number across successfully. I can receive texts however but cannot send them. I'm using an iPhone 8 and have reset my network settings to try and resolve this. Unfortunately resetting network settings has now caused my mobile data to stop working and has prompted the error code "PDP Authentification Failure." Plus, I still can't send texts! Please help! I've called EE technical support who have been unable to resolve this!

If you could speak tour Tech Gurus, they'll be able to send a refresh through to your SIM card to update the message settings.

For text messages, check your phone's message centre number is set to +44 7958 879879.
I don't use iOS, so can't help with the data side - others are more familiar with that.
You've not said how recently, or which day, you brought your number across - but have you tried the simple fix of restarting your phone?

Thanks @bristolian but I've had a google and it appears I can't manually change / access my message centre number on iPhone!
My number was brought across this morning. Since then I've reset it 5/6 times but it still hasn't fixed the problem unfortunately!

I met exactly the same problem today! It has signal but cannot text or use data. Have you solve it successfully?

Yes and I just received transfer successfully completed message yesterday. I turned off and on my device, reset phone settings but still can’t make phone calls, send messages or use data.

I'd recommend getting in touch with our Tech Care team so they can check to make sure your transfer has been completed successfully on your account.
They will be able to help with additional troubleshooting.
