I spent yesterday on the phone talking between BT and EE to get my new iPhone to connect to the EE network.
BT provided me with a PAC code and after a number of calls to and fro, EE eventually accepted the PAC code and told me the line would become active with 24 hours.
The sim sent to me with the iphone was however unknown to the EE support and technical people, also the account number.
By 17:00hrs today I should know if they can connect me, but I do wonder why they have no record of the SIM, and why BT were allowed to set up an account for me at EE, but no one at EE seems to have any record of it, despite the sending me emails and a phone!

Hi @magicfibre
Sorry to say, but your issue sounds very account-specific and there is no access to individual customer accounts on this pubic web-forum.
I would recommend you speak to EE C/S on 150 (or 08000 0798586 from any other phone) who have the required access to your specific account to investigate this further.

Hi @magicfibre
Thanks for posting on the community.
I am sorry to hear this has happened, to get this looked into further I would suggest getting back in touch with our Mobile Care team.
Please let us know how you get on.
Leanne.

I’m now connected to the EE network but ... my PAC code hasn’t yet moved my old number to this new phone, however they did say it could take up to 5 days.
