Can i call to add to plan if i dont have access to the sim for he security pin t

I'm trying to add to plan and I've ordered a sim so I can get the security text but it's taking a long time to arrive. Can I call and add to plan rather than wait for the sim?

@Bexy1982  Nope.  Add to plan is online only.  Even if you could you still need to receive a security text.   You need to prove it’s your number that’s receiving this.  Thats why is a security text.
