Hi

Despite going through all steps - deleting and downloading new app, BT website, waiting 24 hours etc I can’t get BT Sport to work. Keeps repeating id003 error. Any help?

Same problem. Rang EE on Monday was told they had to forward the request to BT as it looks like they had frozen the account and that lots of people were getting the same error last Saturday and it could take 5 days for BT to fix due to back log. Still waiting.

Hi @Jimbomcd

Sorry to hear that. It's worth speaking to our Technical Support team for an update on what's happening.

Hopefully they can help get you set up.

Chris

I too have the same issue, spoke to technical support and was told pretty much exactly the same thing (including that it’s a common issue). Was told could be up to 10 days though…

I logged into bt.com with my registered BTID. I used BT online chat and got it solved yesterday. If like myself with my renewed subscription to BT Sport, BT create a new account number for the subscription. However as my BTID has two previous account numbers this new account could not be paired with my BTID. BT tech support had to escalate this to their level 2 team and it was fixed within 2 days.

With an ID003 error you just need to use THIS   You could even use the link from @XRaySpeX comment to see all the error codes and what to do when you get one.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

That link doesn't work once you have completed it the first time. It is an issue with BT linking the account number (setup with the subscription) to your BTID if as in my case I had subscribed to BT Sport previously.
