Boosting WiFi

I have been with EE for my broadband for over 10 years. I am currently on the Fibre broadband and have the black EE router the same as the BT one.

Everything has been working lovely, however wireless devices have been struggling. I have two additional Apple Airports hardwired into the router in different parts of the house but they are getting old.

I am lucky enough to have a new build with ethernet ports which go back to my Smart Hub. I can see on the EE site that they do the round white disks just like the BT ones. Am I able to get these disks as I am already a broadband customer? Or can I get the BT versions from Amazon or similar and would they be compatible?

Thanks in advance for any help‌‌

From what you say you have the black EE Smart Hub. The white EE Smart WiFi Disc is intended to work with the white EE Smart Router. I dunno whether it will work with the EE Smart Hub.

The ones from Amazon should work with your hub. They are designed to work with any router.

Funnily enough they won't work with the EE smart router or BT equivalent.
