Hi Everyone,
I'm very new to EE - just waiting for my old number to port over from BT Mobile. I still have BT Broadband and phone line.
I'm hoping that someone can verify some information thatold elsewhere:
I am thinking about getting the BT Sport app add-on via EE. EE have told me that not only will I be able to watch on my 'phone and cast to a TV or Chromecast, but I will also be able to use the BT Sport app that is installed on my Sony Android TV and Google Chromecast with Google TV. This will cost me £15 per month, (free for the first 3 months), and is on a rolling monthly basis - no long term contract.
With BT, my understanding is that having the app via a mobile contract restricts viewing to small screen devices, and having it with their home broadband has to be on a 24 month contract.
So, EE would appear to be a far better option for the BT Sport app, if what EE have told me is all true - so can someone verify this for me please and advise of any downsides to getting it via EE rather than BT?

Hi @Paul608085.
Welcome to the EE Community 🙂
The BT Sport app is available on EE Mobile, and if you upgrade this to Large Screen Access, you'll be able to cast to your Chromecast, as well as various other ways to watch on your TV.
Have a look at our BT Sport Large Screen Help Page for more information.

Thanks.
Does the offer that I referred to in my first post - free for 3 months and then £15 per month on a rolling monthly plan - include the Large Screen Access, or does that cost extra?

Hi @Paul608085.
The £15 per month would include large screen access.
Have a look at our other help page for information on the costs - How Can I Watch BT Sport On EE? >
