Has anyone received their Stainless steel series 6 apple watch yet? Still waiting on mine ordered on 17th September 😩

Mike, just got off the phone to EE they have no stock of the SS watches and don’t know when they will get them in still.

Basically told me the same as what the website says about will ship once they get stock from their supplier. 

They do however have the Aluminium one which they could get to me next working day. 

i ordered my SS watch on the 20th, after they cancelled the web order I did on the 19th

Yeah just had a call back for my complaint about my order being cancelled twice and having to place a new order.

They definitely don't have stock yet and I mentioned this thread on the call so they hopefully can stop advisers giving wrong information and causing even more confusion.

It does sound like their system is going to 'time out' existing orders after a certain period as they're down as open sales orders which may very well cause a lot of problems in the next week or so...

I have just had a email saying my watch is on its way. Not had anything from DPD yet, but it looks like my "rough date" idea was pretty close. I should have the watch by the 13th like I worked out. 

I will post again when I get the DPD confirmation, or any other updates.

I received the coming soon message on Thursday, 2 weeks after my original order. I think this is just an automated message.

reading through forum it doesn’t appear to correlate with any predicted delivery date.

Will keep everything crossed I ordered mine on the Thursday 17th over the phone and have Hearn nothing and had no email or anything at all. So surprised you ordered after and have been told it’s on its way. 

I called at weekend and was again told still awaiting stock.

mmmm, just compared the previous email and the latest one, and as Marrila pointed out it seems to be an automated email to make you think like you haven't been forgotten. It is basically the same email too 🙄

So... Today i called ee and the chap at customer services told me that EE have (still) not had a single stainless steel series 6 delivered to them. He offered me a non SS service 6, but thats not what i want. So i told him “I’ll give it a week, two tops. Then I’ll call back to see what my options are”
He even told me the order updates were, and i quote “POOR” and “only sent to keep us interested in buying the watch”.
Buying from Apple is not an option to me, so i guess it’s a wait and see game now. But the fact EE are still advertising the SS model is crazy. Right now, there are 3 weeks of back orders for this model and its only going to get longer.
