Has anyone received their Stainless steel series 6 apple watch yet? Still waiting on mine ordered on 17th September 😩

Order looks to have been auto-cancelled. No explanation so have had to place a new order, back of the queue and hope it arrives within 2 weeks or this may happen again.
Absolutely awful service from EE here. The advisers on the telephone have been helpful but the online chat and lack of meaningful updates has been horrendous.

Why are you talking like you know what you’re talking about? Stock is not allocated that way.
Stock is not something that just appears, it’s meticulously planned over months to ensure that contractual obligations are fulfilled. The only thing I can discern from this whole situation is that there has been an unforeseen issue on the Apple end that has caused available stock to be constrained, however they are either not communicating it to EE or or EE is choosing not to tell us.
This situation is pretty inexcusable for EE and I think apologists like yourself are only normalising this behaviour by acting like it’s some sort of inexplainable situation that we all need to tolerate.

If your comment is aimed at me, you need to re-read what I’ve been saying.
it’s a ROUGH idea of how the stock levels are, I never once said it’s an exact method to tell.
Orders go to the suppliers, and I’m sure Apple, EE, Very etc all use the same one. Orders go into the supplier and they are processed and shipped accordingly.
I’d also say it’s not an unforeseen issue, it’s a common issue with Apple stock that it sells out same as every product release. This year will be even worse due to covid and it’s effect on shipping products about.

Again, completely wrong.
a) Eddy Cue recently noted that EE was the biggest vendor globally for Apple
as such, do you expect they’re getting stock from the same people as very? Of course not. Stock to EE is directly arranged via Apple. They aren’t clamouring to get supplies, apple is clamouring to give them stock to sell.
b) this is completely the exception to the rule. I can categorically tell you that at iPhone launches EE will know their launch day stock well before they open pre orders. This has been confirmed to be an EE colleague and also from past experience.
COVID doesn’t mean anything as when they create their expected supply it would have been in September after yields were assessed.
You say “rough idea” but in the world of electronic goods, particularly those from the biggest freaking company in the world, they don’t deal in “rough”, they deal in absolutes. X amount of stock equals x amount of revenue.

Well said this is my point exactly I said the same thing to customer service and they had no answer to me.
they said. I thing they can do as not received any stock as yet. If I wanted any of the other watches they have them in stock.
I can’t believe they didn’t know the consignment stock levels they would be receiving before the pre order etc. It’s A joke and god help us when the announcements re new iPhones comes in a couple of weeks. What **bleep** ups will occur then?
I paid an early upgrade fee also and I said that I would be refunded money also. But the joys of having to wait even though I was told I would have my watch dispatch the week after I placed order on 17th in the morning. Not at all good.

I have just come off the phone to EE and they have told me they now have stock of the SS and I will receive mine no later than Monday, fingers crossed. I will believe it when it turns up.

haha what ever. You’re obviously an expert 🤣🤣🤣 and I have far better things to do than argue with some idiot on EE forums.
But in that internal call it was Marc Allera who was actually saying EE is the number one European provider (not global) due to their launch plans. Eddy Cue made an appearance to congratulate the EE team for being first to bundle multiple Apple services with a plan.
I’ll stick to my “rough dates” they have worked fine for me in the past when I’ve preordered apple products which went out of stock from EE or other retailers.
Keep trolling Sluddy 😂😂👏🏼👏🏼 One day you may actually be correct.

I’ll try giving them a call shortly too Mike, see if they tell me the same thing.
03-10-2020 10:14 AM
That’s good news. Can I ask when did you place order for the watch?

Hi Mike I have just got off the phone with EE and they are telling me they still have note received any stock for the 44mm series 6 SS and they are not sure why anyone would be told that it’s in stock and would be delivered by Monday at the latest. So again looks like a total shambles and I’m wondering if you have been fobbed off with a fib.
