Apple Watch cellular problem

Hi,

I have a problem with getting my Apple Watch working on celular.

I have a pay monthly contract, but when I click "Set up mobile data" in the Watch app, an Ee page opens telling me that Apple Watches are not supported on the price plan I have.

Would re-pairing the Watch help, or do I need to buy the Watch add-on before starting this process rather than during it?

@LegendusMaximus , you need to make sure that you are doing this with both the phone and watch on cellular and wifi switched off, if you are not already doing it this way.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Thank you. I restarted my phone, turned WiFi off, and tried again. I got to the login screen this time. I have a 1GB sim-only contract. I'll let you know if anything more goes wrong.

@LegendusMaximus , you are welcome, glad I was able to help and that you have been able to sort it, it should not matter whether you have just 1GB sim-only contract, you should still be able to add the data to your watch.
