Apple News Plus issues

I have a new contract with Affordable Mobiles and part of the deal is 6 months with Apple  News +. I have never had Apple News before. I have tried many times over several weeks to text Newsplus to 150 but nothing has happened. I have spoken to EE chat at least five times. The last time they said it is my phone provider, Affordable Mobiles, who should sort it. However, AM say it is EE. I am going round and round in circles and still not sorted. 

I looked on here and have tried various forms of Newsplus texts but no joy. Can anyone help please? I have an Iphone and changed my number using Pac code so it isn't the original number. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Could I please just check when it was you originally took your contract out?

No sadly not. I went i to an EE shop and they couldn't help. I probably need to ring them but it is frustrating!

Thanks for replying, I've spoken to EE tech support but they can't help and told me to get in touch with Apple. Think I'll just have to do without.
