Android Till connection

Hi - purchased a 4gee Wifi Mini to act as a emergency connection for our electronic till in our small community shop - the till can 'see' the wifi network but refuses to connect - is this an issue with the mifi device or the till?

How did you go about connecting the till in the 1st place? If it's anything like a mobile, tell it to Forget the connection & then try again.
