London underground WiFi not working

Blondon
Visitor

Tried to access WiFi on London underground network today. After connecting to virgin media WiFi hotspot, notification said I should instead connect to EE WiFi auto hotspot and that my phone would automatically be detected and signed in. However phone wouldn't connect.

I checked info on EE website and changes to EAP SIM connection type, and forgot the Virgin Media hotspot connection. But phone still won't connect. Am on PAYG with active £30 pack bought in last 30 days, on Android Oxygen OS 11.0.1 on OnePlus Nord N10 device.

Only other factor that could conceivably be involved is that device is dual SIM and I have a second non EE SIM in the phone, although its not set as the default SIM for data or calls.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi @Blondon.

Welcome to the community.

Have you tried more than one station?

Have a look at our Underground WiFi Help Page to see if there is anything on there that might help.
