Active and Expired Date of Sim Card (Pay As You Go)

ni_gem
Visitor

Hello everyone!

I am quite new in this country. I am wondering whether my EE sim card (pay as you go) has expired date and grace period? Based on EE app, the renewal will be on the 20th of March. What will happen if I don't renew my pack on that date?  How long EE will give the grace period.

TIA.

Cheers!

@ni_gem   You have no longer than 179 days from when you last use the sim after this time the sim will go in to hibernation and you then get 179 days to call customer services to get it reactivated.  If you don’t get reactivated the sim will become fully deactivated and then you need a new Sim card which will result in a new number.
Basically you need to make a call/text every 178 days to keep it activated.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
