Account closure confirmation

I've just moved my phone number today from EE to o2, however I have received nothing from EE to confirm that my account is now closed, is this something that is supposed to happen or do I just wait and assume everything is fine until my final bill? I also can't login to myEE anymore so can't check that way.

@danieljevans168 Moving your number closed your account. You don’t have an account to login to as your number not on EE any more. Do not stop your DD just yet give it until your EE payment date to make sure everything is ok even then give it a couple more weeks as you never know you might even get a refund back from EE for over payments.
