AL text stating I have no data

EE login wasn't operational last night so I text ‘AL’ to 150 to check data balance said I’d run out and was on reserve data but I knew that couldn’t be right and it isn’t. Logged in this morning and have around 35gb left. How/Why was I initially misinformed?

@Iwannakill   If the accounts where off line for maintance then texting AL will not work also as that’s a link to your account.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I thought as much but AL text still claiming no data this morning.

Hi @Iwannakill,

What is the full response you receive when you text AL to 150?

James

Your current charges to go onto your next bill are £0.56(this excludes line rental, VAT & any unprocessed charges).
Your current allowances are: Unlimited UK and EU Texts and unlimited minutes to use in the UK, and whilst abroad in our Europe Zone.
You've used up your data allowance for the month. But don't worry, your Reserve Data has kicked in to keep you connected at a slightly slower speed. Your full speed plan will start again 07 Jun 2021.
Reply FREE USAGE to see a full breakdown.
Or you can get back to full-speed data with a data add-on at www.ee.co.uk/addon

Thanks for confirming @Iwannakill

If My EE is still showing you have data remaining, please get in touch with Customer Care so our Tech Gurus can raise a support ticket for you.

Ahmed:

Ok, I've checked the details, but there is nothing to show why you it would say you have no data allowance on that text message.

You definitely have data allowance, it usually starts on the 7th each month. You cant be charged for "going over" data, as it would just stop once you ran out.

Seems like possibly a glitch somewhere on the message notification system.

I'll get that fed back to be investigated separately.

Sorry for any confusion, but you have nothing to worry about :)’’

Might be a ‘mobile data’ issue but I’ve reset the count and AL text said the same about 10 minutes ago
