5gee and fair usage

Hi

I recently took out a 5gee home broadband contract. When I placed the order over the phone the representative said there is a 600gb fair usage policy on their normal unlimited mobile data packages but there is not one for the 5g (router) home broadband plan. I just wanted to confirm/double check this.

Technically probably  not  would you be so kind to find in the terms of service  where  it said  you  cant  use  you  phone as a  personal  myfi  device after all   you can eat data plans seem to bee so  common   that is until  you upset  the  network god  who  will look at   charging you  dearly  my good friend there

@tmobilefan : There are no T&C's that you can't use your phone as a  personal WiFi device. That would be against Net Neutrality rules. Perhaps you are thinking of the T&C's for unlimited data phone plans where you can't use it for non-personal use.

all question are  voluntarily and not payed fore  so maybe i  need to start a Patreon account .....

Hi

UNLIMITED PLANS

50GB fair use policy applies outside UK. Personal, non-commercial use only. If you regularly tether 12 or more devices, we will consider this non-personal use and have the right to move you to a more suitable plan. We will consider usage above 600GB/month to be non-personal use and have the right to apply traffic management controls to deprioritise your mobile traffic during busy periods or to move you to a business plan. You can gift up to 100GB. Data usage on an unlimited plan will decrement from giftable allowance. Any data boost allowance will be added to the giftable allowance.

It is very open to interpretation EE view on commercial use. I don't see the point in offering *unlimited" plans other than a gimmick. They should just offer 600GB plans if that's all they intend to offer for non commercial use.

These T&C are buried and are not simple to find.
