I have heard that to access 5G, you must buy a 5G pack. However, on My EE, nothing mentions 5G or 4G anywhere. Can someone clarify?
Also, if I do need to get a 5G pack, can I still use 4G and lower on it?
do I need a new sim?
If I was to move over to a 30 day 5G pack from a 30 day 4G pack, will I keep my free boosts which I have gathered up over the past few years?

Hi @Cameron89
Welcome to the EE Community,
EE5G is only currently available to EE Pay Monthly customers with a 5G plan & 5G compatible device.
Thanks,

Your need a 5G Ongoing Monthly Plan to benefit 5G, as far as I'm aware there are no 5G Add-on Packs to a 4G Plan.

@Cameron89 : There is no 5G on PAYG. That's why you don't see it anywhere. You need to take out a contract plan to get 5G. Also you will only benefit from 5G if you have have a 5G-capable phone.

As I said you can't get 5G from EE as you are on PAYG.

@Cameron89 5G is not available to Pay as you go customers. To have access to 5G you need to be a contract customer.

@JoeZhou : There's no such thing as 5G PAYG packs. To use 5G you must buy an EE 5G plan contract.
