Hi, can anyone suggest a good 3rd party WiFi extender that works well with the 4GEE router?

Hi SJP232..I'm using a TP link RE450 with a 4GEE router, it seems to do the job for me in a decent sized house.  There is a RE650 model too if you need something more powerful.  You can sometimes find these models refurbished on ebay etc at a reduced price.

Hi wardi.... thank you, that's interesting... I have a TP Link - Deco from my previous setup, but I'm finding that there is a significant difference between the speeds I'm getting via the router's own WiFi and that of the Deco. The Deco is a mesh system, so maybe I just need extenders. I'll look up the ones you suggest. Cheers

We live in farmhouse with v thick stones walls. Purchased

TP-LINK RE450 - (RE450) AC1750 (450+1300) AC Dual Band Wall-Plug WiFi Range Extender GB LAN

And it worked straight out of the box. Good luck.
