4G signal lost after updating to iOS 14

Yesterday I updated my iPhone SE 2020 to the latest iOS.

Since then, I've had little to no 4G coverage: Download speed of 1MB per second when it's working, but half the time there's zero coverage. I've tried restarting my device and switching mobile data on / off.

Any other suggestions / is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Hi @Jambo234

Others on here are far more familiar with iOS than I am, but just by means of checking the obvious..

Are you saying you are losing coverage outright? Or that your phone is not connecting to the 4G network, but is falling back on 2G/3G instead? There's a couple of menu options that I suspect could cause this behaviour, a software update could have changed this.

Have you checked for local coverage faults here or asked others who are on EE, just to make sure this isn't a local network issue that's unfortunately coincidental?

Same

I was able to resolve my 4G via Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings method. Have you tried this?

This worked. Thank you!

Hi @Superstar_Harry

Have you tried a manual search? Does it see any networks and if so, what happens when you try and register on EE?

No service at all..

Im having to do all of this through my WiFi..

very frustrating..

I’ve just switched off auto service provider and clicked on EE..

still no service..

Try Powering off and take the SIM out and re-insert it
