Hi, hope you can help me. I recently got a 4G Router with a 100 GB data allowance. Not nearly enough, run out after about two weeks. I am trying to increase to the unlimited data allowance but can’t find out how to do this online via the EE app. Can anybody help?

@Step2 : Is that on a contract or a fixed duration PAYG?
There's nowt stopping you buying an unlimited data phone SIM on contract & putting it in your MBB router.

Is there no way of simply upgrading my existing plan? I don’t want to start a new contract to run concurrently with the existing plan which I am now locked into for two years!

Ah, OK, so it is a contract!
Yes, you could call CS & ask for an increase (not an upgrade) to your data plan, even to unlimited - see EE Pay Monthly plans: How do I change mine?

Step2.. I have one of these routers. I started off on 100GB and soon realised it might be a bit borderline. I phoned up and asked for my allowance to be increased to 200GB, this took less than 5 minutes. Please remember that some old folks don't even know what an 'app' is.
