Hello EE channel returns team,

I write to follow up on my cancellation submission within the 14 day period for account 189331759 , activated 23 January 2021, submitted 31 Jan to channel.returns@ee.co.uk. I have spent £41 in phone charges on hold trying to contact the 0800.079.0103 cancellation number, the online chat function when logged into my account does not work on two attempts 31 jan and 2 feb, and i have not been contacted in the 48 hours after submission stated by channel.returns. I have submitted my request for the approved reason of coverage not meeting expectations

https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/orders-and-delivery/cancelling-orders-and-contracts/how-to-cancel-a-c... I have cancelled my direct debit, please refund my account. Thank you.

It's impossible to spend £41 calling a Freephone number. It's free to all callers.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

As @XRaySpeX says that’s a freephone number, where did you call from? A landline or another mobile?

in either case you don’t get refunded for any charges occurred during the use of the contract

Thanks for your help, if there is a free number you can call while travelling internationally for work, could you please let me know it? I have been on work travel the past week, thus the charges.
