Hello dear Ee community people, is that time of the year again, pre ordering the new iPhones and Apple Watch and the new special edition Apple fold phone, as you all know the apple event is going on live right now and they are presenting the new iPhones and Apple Watches, I have made this thread so everyone can be updated on every single information for the upcoming days, so follow this thread and keep updated, I received a lot of views last year on my previous thread that was viewed more than 1.95000 views thank you for your support and love.

When I called up throughout the week, my order was already processed and they gave me the timing also - they did say I'd have it on launch which wasn't true haha

Don't bother with executive complaints. They're as incompetent and useless as customer service and will definitely lie to you

My 130pm additional line xko online pre-order is showing as open in the system and even the execs team is saying more than 28 days. If you don't like it, we'll refer you to the ombudsman. An utter joke of a company - and I'm now ready to just decimate the business as best as I can. 

I'm collating info on orders etc and through a few social posts, I've got over 100 customers who have all been missold this. Instead of individual complaints, I'm leaning towards a group complaint and referral to the ASA and trading standards but once I finish collating all the info, my plan is to take this to the media I know (I'm a tech journo) at the UK newspapers. It's a big enough story I'd expect it to get picked up and I suspect it'll cause a PR nightmare.

With EE, I'd just have the expectation that they lied about timings and be prepared for an over 28 day wait.

If they guaranteed delivery in release day then I think you might of had a case, but EE’s T&Cs does cover them regarding pre-orders on launch day unfortunately

I actually think this won't stand up to muster. T&Cs are not enough when they actively sold it and listed it as expect delivery on release day. That makes the reasonable expectation of release day delivery, not for it to suddenly push back to over 28 days.

Regardless, the other reason I'm doing this because I want to see whether they have actually done it on a first come first serve basis or not.

Got off call with EE, they can't explain why some people who have ordered later in the day are getting theirs today compared to people who ordered earlier in the day

EE chat have said nothing has been shipped out, which begs to differ from all those DPD texts

For the 16PM launch, I ordered two days after everyone else and I seemed to get my phone on launch day. So everyone was pretty peed off. Take what EE says with a pinch of salt. I only ordered my Duo on Sunday morning, so was prepared for a 28 day wait. I just hope it's not a Dec/Jan wait. 

Jealous of everyone getting theirs today. Enjoy when it arrives!
