The order in hand thing can be read both ways but I don’t read it as “we have it and are organising it”. Very vague term to use and could give false hope . Typical EE

I had an iPhone 18 Pro Max on back order for 3 weeks and once a week they sent that message.  It is generic vagueness, sent out to act as an update. Nothing more than that in my experience.

i preordered the iPhone duo in a ee store at 1pm on 23rd I was 1st to preorder in the store and am wondering how the preorder works in store as the email I got with confirmation gives me an order number but when I try to track it online it doesn’t work so am assuming it’s a different system in store should I go to the store and just check with them or do I just wait for a call or text from the store
