Apple Mobile handoff - when available ?

[Clever_Trevor]

Hi,

I see Apple are rolling out ‘mobile handoff’ ( https://support.apple.com/en-us/127274 ).
With EE being the first to implement - so when would we likely see this

thanks

All we know is "available later this year".

This looks a very similar setup to the useful "Single Number" facility that Orange offered until 2020 or so.

SMS handling across the dual devices will be interesting, that was an understandable limitation of the previous service.

the main number will get the text, but as messages are synced to cloud the messages will arrive on the 2nd phone as it does on ipads

so long and the main phone is on and has signal

Any update on when this might be coming ?

Today’s EE release speaks as though it is live rather than ‘coming soon’
