Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Let’s see what happens then. I’ve been resigned to a delay since 1:15pm on Friday when I got my first order confirmation like everyone else in the anytime upgrade who dared to order lol.

 

i find that every year there’s at least a couple of reps who give out information like there’s a delay no matter what, so I guess it’s just a case of it comes when it comes.


The number of people who had orders placed that then got flushed out based on what’s been said by some of those affected in other threads has already messed with timelines for a lot of people. Until then I suppose it’s happy Sunday 😂

It is what it is, there’s a lot of confusion as to when and what. But if you have an order confirmed you’re good to go, it will get to you sooner than later. 

I got the white just because so few ordered it if any lol

@Deryn2001 using the order tracker, I can type my 0033****** number and track using my email, if I use my mobile it won't work.
Hint... use the order tracker logged off, as if I login I cannot track my order

I live in hope I get my 15 pro max for launch day but preparing for 3 weeks as been told. live in hope though .

Hi thanks for the reply, I have tried this and still getting the same message that this type of delivery can’t be tracked. I tried it signed out, the went incognito and still saying the same.

My journey:

managed to get my online order by 1pm Friday, received an email immediately stating they have my order with all the details including the NHS discount along with an xko order number but they needed me to call so the can confirm some details.

called them up at 13:09 and was on hold for about 30 minutes.  I spoke to someone who has been through multiple iPhone releases so she was not phased with at least 300 people in their queue.  The system kept on crashing and she had to restart a few times.  She finally was able to manage to send the text requesting me to join a screen sharing session to review and approve the T&Cs.  Received a text at 14:03 stating that my order is confirmed and provided a link to see the latest updates.  I never received an email though confirming that order was complete.

phoned EE on Saturday at 9am and was on hold for 25 minutes, the person I spoke with located my online order and noted that it was not processed.  He reprocessed the order again and I did the review/approval through screen sharing (this time I also reviewed and approved the basket and the spend cap along with the T&Cs).  As soon as I completed that, I received an email at 9:41 with the order confirmation number (003 series, no longer the xko series).

as noted in a few posts earlier, tracking works with the 003 order number and email address

just spoke to an online chat advisor through the app. Ordered the iPhone pro max 256gb in titanium black

for the deal i got im happy with. My current phone will be traded in which is the 13 pro max. Got my email with the order number. Took me literally 30 mins to get everything done.

Hi, 

I ordered a 15 pro max on Saturday 16/9. Tried ordering on 15/9, but was told all systems were down. Was told had successfully ordered the phone-at no time was I told it was a pre-order. Paid £6.95 to secure a delivery on 22/9. Began to get a bit suspicious when no confirmation email with an order number arrived. Contacted EE this morning, and have been advised that it is at least  28 day delivery. Have now raised a complaint as can’t get through to the correct department as the service is ‘unavailable’!

I ordered the 256gb Blue Pro Max late Friday, so I'm not surprised that there's a delay. What worries me though, is that when I called, after 45 minutes on hold yesterday, I was told my order couldn't be processed and they would call me back. It looks like they were just collecting numbers at that stage, as they were so far behind. I was told i would get a call at 1pm today, but as of yet nothing, and the lines are down.

I raised a complaint about having similar issues and the fact that two advisors had the opportunity to tell me that my order hadn’t gone through which in light of the system issues we now know about, they must have know at the time. This complaint has been closed this morning without me even being contacted and I don’t accept that it has been resolved. Any customer services members in this forum should be aware that the service being offered can only be described as shameful and I will be contacting to insist that this complaint is reopened.
