Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

That’s frustrating mate… I’ve had to call 3 times to confirm and make sure order was done. I would call them and get your order sorted. Calling and being persistent is the only thing that works. I insisted on waiting and getting the whole process done while on the phone rather than being told we will take care of it.

I contacted ee through chat (about 2 hours waiting time) to enquire why I couldn’t track my order. She told me the order number is just for internal and not for tracking. She said that my order has been processed and its first come first serve basis for the phone getting delivered. I stated I was told it would be the 22nd and she basically just said to be patient and wait for an email or text from DPD to confirm when it would be delivered.

Ok so I got a call from an advisor yesterday and he was able to place my order. Unfortunately it’s going to take up to 28 days. Not much can be done about it as it was a system fault. On Friday I was able to pre order the Apple Watch ultra 2. When I was talking to the advisor I asked for both the order numbers they began with 025. Those numbers can’t be tracked. So today I called and asked if there was another number that began with 0033. He was able to give me that number and I’m able to track. Just remember it’s a system fault. I have raised a complaint as well

Got my 003 email with tracking link.
All tracking now.
Was told over the phone expected delivery launch day but will wait till it shows up on DPD app as per usual.

XKO numbers are classed open orders and need processing manually to assign master order number.
Dont believe chat agent re XKO numbers as they do not have access to Digi Sales Team's system.

I finally got through, and was told all was good with my order, but when asked for an ETA they were vague. I'm just glad my order is active at this stage. Do EE send a follow up email with a delivery date normally, or do I sit on my hands for the next week or weeks?
Also, I paid some money up front for the iPhone Pro max, and it went onto my Bill as credit!! They had a look and said they have sorted it out..

Emails detailing tracking and dispatch will be sent out later next week along with DPD updates! XKO numbers and 003 numbers (depending on what they’ve given you so far) don’t work for tracking! This is what CS told me today

I have just got off the live chat regarding my order,
I've been told that I will receive my order status and delivery details on Friday (22nd September) and that my order is confirmed, so all good here!
I wasn't given my 003 number and am still stuck with the xko number that is useless! but as longs as it arrives I'm not bothered!
