iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

"I have checked your order, it is in open sales status which means it is placed succesfully and will be notifed when dispatched. Delivery starts 22nd Spetember and is first come first served basis.

As it is not yet dispatched at 3pm you will not get it tomorrow. You will be notified when it is dispatched"

So let me get this straight- I pay through the nose for upgrade anytime- I try and pre-order at 1pm and systems crash and they can't get it done until 4pm, which means I miss out because of EE's incompetent systems..?

I don’t know. I can’t track anything because I’ve not been given any numbers yet. Live chat were no help at all and not had a reply to my DM on X I sent yesterday. Last time I called up they didn’t give me an order number either. 

The lack of order confirmation is alarming

And all the time there will be a clown on here who ordered Tuesday who is looking at their DPD notification right now haha.

@royzer76 I've spoken to my friend and told him that me and a bunch of others have received DPD notifs for tomorrow and he said he's genuinely surprised because the last he heard was that EE had fumbled it this year. Said he reckons the higher-ups have managed to sort it directly with Apple so who knows. 

Either way it's good news. Tomorrow will be a good day 😎

It EE is saying no notification by 3pm means we ain't getting it tomorrow. Well then I guess we ain't getting it tomorrow 😩 it's been fun guys but looks like maybe we have to wait a bit longer.

A very helpful lady has just told me that today's allocation has gone out now, so if there hasn't been any DPD notification (although the EE order status may take a while to change), then it won't leave today and will leave tomorrow onwards.

This is what actually annoys me the most about EE. I went into web-chat to ask for an update and received the following replies

Congratulations! your iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB blue Titanium has been picked up from the warehouse and EE will start delivering all the iPhone orders from 22nd of Sept and you may expect this phone by 29th of Sept 23. I am going to make a supporting note on your account so that our team will keep an eye on your order to ensure it gets delivered as soon as possible to you.

I then asked if it has definitely been picked and got the following response:

It has been picked up from manufacturer and It is being prepared at EE warehouse. It will take 3-5 working days to deliver to you. You may expect delivery by 30th of Sept 23.

I called CS who confirmed it is still an open sales order.

I can deal with delays, I can deal with system issues, I can’t deal with lies. So I complained.

The only thing I need to make sure of now is being in the house when it arrives 😂 please don't deliver it Monday EE 🙈 Tuesday Wednesday would be ideal if it's not coming tomorrow hahaha
