Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Anyone know if there's a DPD pickup tomorrow for delivery on Monday - I assume they don't do Saturday deliveries?

from Lancs, had the notification today that it had been delivered - nothing yesterday. Order confirmed last Friday 1.20

I had almost exactly the same thing happen.

Upgraded online on Friday and was asked to phone to complete it. Digitally signed all the paperwork but no order confirmation email. I got impatient and wanted to use the order tracker so used webchat on Tuesday night to ask for the order number and was told no order had been placed. To make matters worse, the webchat advisor then upgraded me to the wrong plan so I had to call EE and start again for the 3rd time.

I was originally told I'd get it on launch day and per the most recent phone call it'll be dispatched "in more than 28 days"...

Exact same thing happened to me. Was chatting to them at 12:50 to make sure I got in there straight away at 1pm with upgrade. If anyone had similar issues and managed to get anywhere with progressing a complaint or back early in the queue then let me know! Seems like lots of people who had their confirmed order at 13:00 still waiting for phones though...

Toying with moving from Natural to White though as seems to be the most popular by a mile.

I guess we shall see. I know that me sat here staring for delivery notifications ain't helping. I better go out and do some shopping or I'm wasting my day off hahaha

I'm doubtful but I'm hoping that my preorder place in the queue wasn't cancelled and it was just the contract details that updated. With the level of competence of EE's handling preorders this year, I wouldn't be surprised I'm billed for all 3 upgrades orders and none arrive.

I'm not going to claim I know what this process is like these days, but I used to work in an EE store (my first year there was when they rebranded from Orange and T-Mobile) and an O2 store through multiple iPhone launches between them and I don't remember ever seeing this much of a s**tshow
