Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Apple’s system on September 15 was not flawless either, it got hit so hard that some people were not able to get through at 1pm BST, causing some to miss getting delivery slots on Sept 22. But eventually things started flowing around 1:20pm. Unlike EE’s system issues which seems to have taken at least a couple days to partially become functional.

Interesting.... the 512gb models were showing more than the standard "14 days" for delivery on pre-order day 1... 🧐

Ordered the iPhone pro max on the 15th at 1pm received an xko order number , the next day I received an order confirmed txt and another txt with a 1 day dispatch , today I called and spoke to cs who gave me a 0257 number , so should get a txt from DPD tomorrow to confirm delivery , fingers crossed 🤞🏽 it arrives Friday

I think those of us that have been told our orders have been picked are probably accurate and will receive it on schedule. (I hope) Anyone who has been told anything different, most commonly shifting the blame to apple with excuses like there is a delay on some models from apple are just excuses rather than telling the customer they won't receive thier device even though they've pre ordered. It's no coincidence that everyone who has been told thier device has been picked managed to get thier pre order in and confirmed as soon as possible. Anyone having issues likely tried but had issues which delayed confirming thier pre order even if it was just by a day.
This year is different to any other previous with apple, they've marketed all the 15 models to make buying the pro models a no brainier. Hypothesising here, but I don't think it's a shortage from apple, I think it's a shortage of particular models that EE have ordered to sell to thier customers because they haven't accounted for the expected increase in pro models this year. Hence why there isn't any issue with some people saying all is going smoothly when they've ordered with sky etc.

Will apparently be getting a callback tomorow which will probably end up telling me what they did today about 1tb PM being delayed 28 days when i ordered over the phone at 1.05pm on 15th and was guaranteed launch day…and this will be where il tell them to stick the phone where the sun dont shine and order a Z fold 5 from samsung which is what i feel i should have done originally

does anyone's order on EE online tracking show "picked" or similar yet? have people reported that happening?

I also thought the same but the CS has assured me it has been picked .
Not keeping my hopes high .

Forgot about that just checked it still says Awaiting confirmation.. just spoke to CS as well who confirmed my DPD notification and tracking is correct my order is defiantly dispatched
They said that most of the tracking numbers are coming through now for DPD might be worth a message to them to see if they can give them yours
