Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

EE App messaging open till 11pm 

 

I messaged through the app at 8:45 and got the message they’re closed and will pick up the conversation when they’re open again.

Looking back on my old order from 2021 with Samsung fold I have the chat transcript also in an email back then and the online chat said order was picked and reassured me and it sure was and had it on launch day or the day before even. Will check that again. 

I think Ee do say a lot of mixed things but it must be chaos but this happens every year.

Double checked through my live chat earlier this evening and just realised they found my order number which is different to my email order number. Now I'm even more confused. 🥴

Email order was 03 and one they gave me was an 02

Currently getting this at the moment so not sure what’s going on with my order. Ordered a 256gb blue Pro Max over the phone at roughly 4pm. Received an 003 number straight away but that’s what I get when I put it in. If things haven’t moved when I wake up I’m going to call

I ordered late Friday evening through the website, but had no call request, and resigned myself to delays. I hope those that called in the day and ordered online in time get their Pro Max phones, but I think after that, judging by the comments here, the rest are going to be left hanging. As someone who has worked CS, It seemed like EE employees were either fed a line, or were completely unaware of what was going to happen. It makes sense seeing as in my calls, not one of them could give me an estimated date. Keep us all updated on deliveries, as I'm sure that it's down to luck right now.

Placed my order yesterday, still only have the "Thanks for your order" email, to which I assume I won't be getting the phone anytime soon sadly. 

Hey did you call through to upgrades to find that out?

This happened to me as well, I called Cs and they said the 003 is for us and 02 is an internal one. It just didn't make any sense to me.
