how picky is EE when it comes to the condition of the phone?

I’ve found them not to be greatly picky. I’ve sent a phone back covered in scratches & they have said nothing

What did they say in the end? Here’s what it says in my email and what I was told by CS chat last night. That’s all well and good them saying that but I would rather they just don’t charge my account in the first place 😅

Avoided all the drama of pre order this year and tried my luck in store in the hope they’d have a few in stock.
in and out within 20 mins and the happy new owner of a deep purple IPhone 14 pro 😁

That they would note my concerns about being charged for late return. So they didn’t say I wouldn’t be charged if it didn’t happen but was told “allegedly” expect delivery next week

Generally I still don’t understand how can order 2 mins after the pre orders came out and still not have my device or any news on its arrival, I’ve been with EE for 4 years now and they’ve been great but come on guys you’re letting me down 😫
