iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Preorder tracking thread

I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

I pre-ordered the 14 pro max in deep purple, tracking currently says order confirmed but nothing about “dispatch expected in 24 hours” I heard quite a few problems people encounted with the 13 launch so I am thinking of phoning up and double check it’s being delivered Friday.

I ordered my 13 pro max on day pre order started at 13:07. I had to wait 6 weeks after day it was released (this was from EE). I’ve pre ordered 14 pro max (again just after 1pm last Friday) and highly doubt I’ll get it this Friday. Be prepared for a delay. If it comes quicker, then it’s a bonus. I’ve had no texts but got the confirmation email.

In my experience of the 11 and 13 launches with EE , things should start moving today if not tomorrow and it’ll all happen quite quickly from there.
As someone said before on this thread, being logged into DPD app with your EE number and account email will give you an early sign that things are starting to move,

So I pre ordered the iPhone 14 PM in purple 512GB over the phone, the guy specifically said I would receive it on launch day and even paid a £6 delivery charge, I’ve received a 002 order number that’s still awaiting confirmation so I contacted ee now I was told this by one of the agents 

 looks like no one is getting there’s on Friday 😭

Anybody else's still at this? Hoping 'Dispatch expected in 24 hours' will highlight today 😰 When I ordered via phone on release day I was informed I'd get it on launch day. I keep checking my DPD app to see if anythings appeared too 🤣

Feels like basic human psyche, it’s not the waiting that gets you, it’s the not knowing that does.

I can’t believe there isn’t a better way of EE handling the situation of stock but like others I’m used to it with pre-orders. I preordered pretty much at 1pm exactly on the phone last Friday and was told middle of October so who knows!

I agree, the most annoying part is not knowing what's happening. With CS agents all giving different excuses, some saying they don't ship until launch day, first come first serve etc etc, it certainly doesn't inspire confidence. I'd rather they just be honest and tell us they don't know, instead of following their 'iPhone launch' script.

I don't expect my tracking to change from 'Awaiting Confirmation' until next week at the earliest, even though I pre ordered pretty early on, because my order got stuck and wasn't sorted until yesterday.

This “order stuck” business is ridiculous. I can’t think of a single other website where orders just get stuck so often.
