I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Hi everyone.

What I’ve learned over the past few years is 1) we’ll all be told lots of different things when we contact EE … 2) nothing is certain until the phone arrives at your door … 3) signs your phone is on its way are a) a spurt of texts from EE and b) updates from DPD (their App is a great early warning system.

Hopefully we’ll all be buzzing by Thursday evening.

I look forward to catching up on your updates.

I have a text and the delivery payment was  taken out but literally nothing else. No confirmation of plan or anything. 

Hopeful I’ll get the phone on launch day but don’t actually have any reason to believe that. 

EE seem to operate a “cloud of confusion” model on pre-orders lol.

(I’m not having much luck with pre-orders in general with my MacBook Air and AirPods Pro still in “processing” over at Apple).

Fingers crossed we start getting some of these soon! Probably Thursday I would imagine.

Ordered on preorder day. Forgot about till today when EE called me to ask about the phone I’m returning. I asked if I will receive new iPhone on Friday and was told yes I have a delivery coming Friday. I ordered  14 pro max 256 in gold

Is anyone’s handset cost (if applicable) still pending? It doesn’t give me too much hope that they haven’t actually taken that properly from my CC, especially as I had that initial issue with the order getting stuck when I made it on Friday.

I have pre ordered on Friday and I called up 150 to double check my online order went through. My £30 fee went through on Apple Pay and is added to my account as credit. When I check my online tracker with my 10 digit order number or my xko number, nothing is showing. It just says Sorry, you can't track this order type just yet.

why won’t it work?
