do I can’t receive or make calls or texts unless I’m o. Wifi.
I am using a SIM card in my phone.
I have Change network selection from auto selection to ee and back to auto. I have changed to airplane mode to on and off. I have rebooted the phone.
any help ie advice would be great.

If you're able to make & receive calls while on WiFi-calling, your SIM must be working - although it does otherwise explain the symptoms when using mobile.
Does toggling flight mode restore your coverage, even if only for a short time?
Are you able to try a 2way SIM-swap..
Put a known-working SIM in your phone - what result?

Hi @Scorpio369
Welcome to the community.
Could you try resetting the network settings please?
Tap Settings > General >Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network settings > Follow on-screen prompts.
Let me know if it's then working.
