SIM card and iphone

Hi

Ive got an issue regarding my SIM card, I’ve got a notification from my phone (which it’s an iPhone) saying that I need to reinsert my SIM card and my current number ive been using expires in 4 days so ive reinserted the SIM card and updated my number on my Apple ID (which it’s my current number) and now saying my number is now unavailable for messages and FaceTime. Can someone help please?

If I'm understanding you, we had that exact same issues on 2 iPhones, no's ported over from BT. Eventually, correct number would show on calls, but temp no stuck on iMessage and Facetime.

Solved in Settings/Apple Account/Sign in & Security, and changing to correct no, then Settings/Apps, and changing iMessage and FT to correct no, then switching phone off/on..

Worked for us, but only after numerous calls to 150, and a c/b from Mobile Tech.

If this doesn't work, or you can't change the settings, you'll have to ring 150 I'm afraid.
